Market Planner: Your Strategic Toolkit

The Market Planner is a powerful tool within the Plan section that allows you to:

Create and Edit Markets: Define and customize markets based on specific criteria such as geography, industry, key themes, and business contexts.

Access Detailed Analytics: Gain insights into buying signal trends, account counts, and market dynamics within each market.

Leverage GlobalData Templates: Use pre-built templates to quickly identify attractive markets, outsmart competition, and find your ideal target market.

The GlobalData templates offer a streamlined approach to identifying and prioritizing your most promising markets. These templates include:

Market Attractiveness: Uncover markets with high growth potential by analyzing growth indicators, market data, and risk metrics.

Opportunity Assessment: Find markets that align with your ideal customer profiles and spend triggers.

Market Updates: Stay Informed and Ahead

The Market Updates subsection provides real-time insights and developments related to your selected sales markets. Stay informed about market conditions, industry news, competitive movements, and other relevant data that could impact your sales efforts.

Real-time Updates: Receive timely information on market changes.

Customization: Filter updates by industry, theme, geography, source type, and date.

Saved Views: Save customized views for quick access to relevant information.

Search Functionality: Quickly find specific topics, companies, or trends using the search feature.

Additional Features

Create New Markets

Easily create new markets based on your specific criteria.

  1. Start by selecting the Create Market button within the Market Planner.

  1. Define Your Market: You will be prompted to select refinements such as Geography, Theme, and Industry.

  1. Review and Save: After applying your refinements, the system will prompt to name your market before saving it. This name will help you easily identify and manage your markets in the future.

Saved Markets

The Market Planner provides a detailed overview of all the markets you’ve created or customized, displayed in a convenient table format. For each market, the table includes:

Refinements: The specific geographic, industry, and thematic filters you applied when creating the market.

Buying Signals Count: The number of buying signals identified within the market.

Account Count: The number of accounts or companies associated with the market.

Direct Links: You can click on the Buying Signals and Accounts links to be redirected to the Engage section, where you can view detailed information about each lead or account associated with the market.

This detailed listing allows you to quickly assess the performance and relevance of each market, helping you to prioritize your sales efforts effectively.

Actions on Saved Markets

The Market Planner offers several actions that you can perform on your saved markets to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with your sales objectives:

Share: Easily share your market with colleagues or team members to collaborate on sales strategies.

Edit: Update the refinements or context of an existing market to reflect changes in your sales strategy or market conditions.

Delete: Remove a market that is no longer relevant to keep your planning environment clutter-free. However, the default market created by SI tool during user onboarding cannot be deleted.

Set as Default: Designate a market as your default, meaning it will be the primary focus area displayed when you access the Plan section or related tools.

Ask AVA: You can use Ask AVA in three ways for your selected market:

  • Enter your specific sales-related questions in the query text box to get insights tailored to that market.

  • Choose one of the pre-filled Sales Intelligence FAQs, which automatically includes variables from your selected market for quick answers.

  • Use a Sales Intelligence prompt card, designed to help you generate targeted insights for market monitoring, account tracking, and building your prospect list.

These actions give you full control over your sales markets, enabling you to keep your strategies agile and responsive to changing market conditions.
