Target Section: Your Strategic Advantage

The Target section is a critical part of the Sales Intelligence (SI) Tool, designed to streamline your sales efforts by helping you identify and prioritize potential clients and accounts. Leveraging GlobalData's extensive database, this section empowers you to focus your sales efforts on the most promising opportunities.

Key Benefits of the Target Section

Identify High-Potential Targets: Use advanced search tools to pinpoint companies that align with your strategic objectives.

Prioritize Companies: Rank potential companies based on key metrics to ensure you focus on the most valuable opportunities.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on comprehensive market intelligence.

Main Components of the Target Section

Ideal Customer Profiler: Conduct in-depth searches and refinements to create a targeted list of potential companies.

Company Prioritizer: Rank shortlisted companies based on various metrics to identify the highest-potential accounts.

Ideal Customer Profiler: Your Powerful Search Tool

The Ideal Customer Profiler tool is designed to help you create a targeted list of companies that are most relevant to your sales objectives. The tool leverages GlobalData’s extensive database and the level of detail provided by the Ideal Customer Profiler tool makes it easier for you to zero in on the most promising prospects.

The Ideal Customer Profiler tool is an advanced search and filtering tool that allows you to:

Conduct In-Depth Searches

Use a variety of filters and criteria to refine your search results. You can conduct very specific searches, focusing on the exact types of companies that are most likely to be interested in your products or services. The more precise your search, the more relevant your target list will be, leading to a higher success rate in your sales efforts.

Leverage GlobalData's Database

Search by geography, industry, company type, financials, stock tickers, themes, high-frequency signals, industry data, media intent, and more.

Save Refined Searches

The Ideal Company Profiler tool allows you to save your refined searches for future use. After applying your desired refinements, you can save the current view by clicking the Save button. The system will prompt you to enter a relevant title for the view, which makes it easier to identify later. This feature is particularly useful if you have multiple target segments that you regularly search for, as you can save each segment as a separate view. Once saved, these views can be easily accessed and managed. You can switch between different saved views using the switcher next to the view title, allowing you to maintain and manage multiple target lists simultaneously.

Upload Your Own List

Import your own list of prospect companies and enrich it with additional insights using the SI Tool’s powerful data analytics. Once uploaded, these companies are automatically mapped to GlobalData’s comprehensive database. This mapping process enriches your list with additional insights, such as financial data, industry signals, and market trends, which can help you better understand the potential of each company on your list.

Analyze Results

Use the Result Analytics feature to assess the quality and potential of your target list.

Prioritizing Companies in the Ideal Customer Profiler

To prioritize companies in the Ideal Customer Profiler, first select the companies you want to focus on by checking the boxes next to each company row. Then, click the Prioritize button. The system will prompt you to save the selected companies as a watchlist before running the prioritization. Once saved, the SI Tool uses GlobalData’s proprietary prioritization algorithm to rank these companies based on various metrics, such as signals, financial health, and other key indicators.

Company Prioritizer: Prioritize Your Targets

The Company Prioritizer is a tool that helps you rank and prioritize the best accounts to target from your shortlisted companies.

Key features include:

Prioritization Algorithm

Uses GlobalData’s proprietary prioritization algorithm to assign a priority score to each account, which is calculated based on a combination of market metrics, company-specific signals, and other relevant data. The Company Prioritizer is essential for sales teams that need to manage large lists of prospects and want to ensure they are targeting the most valuable opportunities.

Templates

Choose from the default Company Prioritizer template or the upcoming Competitor Account Prioritizer template.

  1. Company Prioritizer (Default Template): This template helps you find the best accounts to target using your shortlisted signals and market metrics. It’s designed to be versatile and applicable to various industries and sales strategies.

  1. Competitor Company Prioritizer: This template, which will be launched soon, focuses on identifying and targeting the largest clients of your competitors. It provides insights into which of your competitors’ clients could be potential targets for your sales efforts. Although not fully available yet, you can preview its features by clicking the Preview link within the tool.

Customization

Customize the prioritization process by adjusting the weights assigned to different metrics. For example, if financial stability is more critical to your strategy than market opportunity, you can assign a higher weight to the financial metrics. The tool ensures that the sum of all assigned weights equals 100%, maintaining balance in the prioritization algorithm. Once you’ve set your custom weights, the accounts in your selected watchlist are re-sorted based on their new priority scores, giving you a tailored view of the most promising opportunities.

Actions

The Company Prioritizer offers a range of actions to help you manage and optimize your watchlists:

  1. Share: You can share your watchlists with other team members, allowing for collaboration and joint decision-making.

  1. Edit: You can modify the watchlist, adding or removing companies as needed.

  1. Delete: If a watchlist is no longer needed, you can delete it to keep your workspace organized.

  1. Edit Alert Setup: You can set up alerts on specific watchlists to notify you of important changes or updates related to the companies within the list.

  1. Explore Databases: You can explore any of GlobalData’s proprietary databases using the companies in your watchlist to gain deeper insights and intelligence on these accounts.

  1. The tool also includes a search feature to help you quickly locate specific watchlists if you manage multiple lists.
